The Human Voice

The human voice is a very powerful weapon, especially when it comes together. The human voice may not be as powerful as it use to be in the 1960’s but it is still in the atmosphere. Here is a flashback, in the 1960’s during the civil right movement; many African American marched on the streets chanting for equality and human rights. Now 50 years isn’t everyone treated equal and has the same rights as the person next to them.  The human voice can take on any cause to achieve victory. No to long ago the president of Egypt Hosni Mubarak said that wouldn’t resign and that he would remain empower until next elections. The Egyptian people continued to let their voices be heard for a change and now the president of the country step down.  According to video by Studs Terkel ”The Human Voice" Children see the world with innocent eyes were as in adults society has built us to become so serious. For example, in the video when the train was delayed thirty seconds, because of a young couple entering the train too late, everyone stared at the couple with so much hated. However when the old man “Gabby” ask the little baby, for its opinion on  the human voice the baby starts giggling. This example shows how society and the human voice is decreasing as we get older. All in all the human voice is still here is not being put to into good use (like the people on the train).
